Cookie policy
This page explains what KOI stores in your browser. The data controller is Japonal Viajes, S.L.U., tax ID B13850847, Nájera, La Rioja. Contact, [email protected].
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Local storage is similar, but only this site reads it and it stays on your phone or computer.
What KOI uses
- KOI local storage. Our own and technical, so it needs no consent. It keeps your trip, the steps you tick as done and your preferences. It stays in your browser and never reaches us. It lasts until you delete it.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts visits without cookies, without storing anything in your browser and without data that identifies you. It needs no consent.
- KOI's own measurement. Without cookies and without storing anything in your browser, it counts some clicks (to Chinalia, to Trip.com and in the app) with the page and the country. It does not keep your IP or anything that identifies you, so it needs no consent.
- Trip.com. Links to Trip.com carry KOI's partner code in the address itself, so the booking is linked to KOI. KOI sets no cookie for this. When you reach Trip.com, its site sets its own cookies and asks for your consent with its own notice and policy.
Why we do not ask for consent
Everything KOI uses is technical or stores nothing in your browser, so no cookie notice is needed. If we ever use something that needs it, we will update this page and ask you first.
