KOI terms of use

What KOI is and what you can expect from the app and this website.

When you create your trip in the app you accept these terms.

Who runs KOI

  • Japonal Viajes, S.L.U., under the Chinalia brand
  • Tax ID B13850847
  • Nájera, La Rioja
  • Licensed travel agency, CALR101TL
  • Contact, [email protected]

What KOI is

KOI is a free information tool to prepare a trip to China. It helps you choose a route, tells you what to book and when, and keeps your trip in the app. KOI does not sell trips or act as an intermediary in bookings, and it never charges you.

What you book with other companies

Some buttons take you to Trip.com, a KOI partner. What you book there is a contract between you and that company, with its own prices and terms. They take payment and handle the booking, changes, cancellations and refunds. KOI is not part of that contract. If you need help, see Booking help.

If you choose Chinalia

If you ask Chinalia to organise your trip or a service, such as a transfer or a guide, the contract is with the agency, under its own terms, separate from these. Chinalia gives you the price and the terms before you book.

The information in KOI

We check visas, opening times, prices and booking windows against official sources, and every page says when. Even so, rules and prices change. It is guidance only. Before you travel, confirm visa and entry rules with the embassy or your airline, and prices and times with each provider.

Your trip in the app

What you save in the app, such as your route, dates or what you tick as done, stays in your browser. If you give us your email, we use it as explained in Privacy. Do not type passwords, card numbers or your passport number in the app.

Your bookings in KOI

Each trip you create has its own KOI email address. If you forward a booking confirmation there, or upload a voucher or booking number in the app, you agree that KOI stores and reads it to show it to you, organised in your trip, and to tick off what you already have. It is a copy for you. The booking is still between you and the provider, under their terms, and changes or cancellations go through them.

Using the content

You can use KOI to plan your trips and share links to its pages. The texts and illustrations are ours. Do not copy them for another website or for commercial use without asking us.

Your rights

Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

Changes

If we change these terms, we update this page and its date. If you have questions, write to [email protected].
